Hello readers and reader-want-to-bes:

The FCC
Book Club is about to read our 11th book and all are invited to read along.  Don't worry, the books aren't too long and not too many big words!  We have about 20 folks participating and have had a lot of lively discussions.  We've met at homes, met at the church and even one meeting at Borders Books.  Our reads have taken us many places with lots of colorful characters - both fiction and real.  We've laughed, cried, cheered, praised, wondered, pondered, argued, listened, talked, speculated, but mostly we enjoyed each others' company.  We ate in Italy, prayed in India and loved in Indonesia.  We've been lectured to for the last time and we even built schools in Afghanistan while confronting the Taliban.  We were held up in a Shack with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  A couple characters named Jim and Casper took us around the country visited various churches big and small.  We flew planes from Montana to the Aleutians Islands during the war wondering just who that 11th man really was and we even experienced life through the eyes of the family dog.  We witnessed war crime tribunals and spent time on the Island of Guernsey with the local folks and the occupying Germans.  We can't wait to see what "The Secret Life of Bees" is all about.

We meet monthly and invite everyone to read along.
